Past year report.

A) Past year realisations

2010 exercice is ending with a concrete project - financed partially by Kamsaagre - succeeded during this year : 3 classrooms were delivered and used from their delivery.

The adjustments made during the previous exercise with the entrance of Pascaline OUEDRAOGO  as our local coordinator of our action were fruitful. The interface with the orphanage is henceforth insured in Lumbilla

B) A web site for the orphanage. 

Since june 2010, Ste Therese has it's own web site at :  www.orphelinat-saintetherese.org . This one can now allow to communicate on it's actions and projects.

The existence of this site makes some of the objectives of past year void : it is the case of " The Echos of Lumbilla " and of the regular quarterly newsletter. The principle of this last one is however preserved in the hypothesis of an information of premium importance which could be passed on by this way.

The question of the complementarity of our sites really settled. The wealth of  Ste Therese Web  site  makes possible, indispensable, the share of the information and/or the focus about a particular point. The orphanage by its Web interface, insures for the main part the advertising of its local actions. The site of Kamsaagre will thus constitute a natural relay via a page " On the front page of Ste Thérèse ", but also pursues its own objective: promote our action with the orphanage.

The structure of our site gives any satisfaction, the number of visitors continue to increase since his creation -  about 26.000 visits - and the choice of " Guppy " as Contents Management System allows a reactive and flexible management.

C) Middle term prospective.

It seems henceforth acquired that our action is reorientated towards projects of large-scale infrastructure, the objective being forward to favor the autonomy and the self-sufficiency of the orphanage in all the compartments of its management.  The examination of our  section "Budget", which presents by post the expenses of the orphanage, demonstrates that if the pharmaceutical and cares spending are always important, the fixed costs of secondary education weigh in the accounts of the orphanage.

In the medium term, an integration - even partial -   of secondary education matters, seems to be one of solutions envisaged by the staff of Lumbilla.
